Suppressors Single Can for 6.5CM and 308/300BLK/300RUM

I am not rich enough to pay for a $200 for a "stamp" on top of $1,000 for a suppressor that cost probably $50-100 to make for multiple cans. But I must have one, especially for my 300RUM with a brake (which is now no longer allowed at my range without a suppressor because of "Karen" and his crying child that didn't have ears on in the hot bay)... so... I must pursue.

I can get one can. I have 6mm, 6.5mm, and 30 caliber bullet shooters of various persuasion. I will swap it to and fro. It must not be a PITA to swap, either.

Forgive the dumb question, but as long as I get me a can that'll handle a 300RUM and as long as the thread pitches are the same, I can use that for all my other calibers if I so choose. It's just that on the 6 and 6.5 especially the suppression might not be as silence-a-licious as a can designed for the smaller boolyat... is that about accurate? I'll live with the sacrifice.

If anyone has any top notch quality easily removed and swapped around can suggestions... I'm all ears. I just want to verify I'm not extra screwing myself with this limitation.

This may help you decide. In many cases it's not only the cost of the can and stamp, but also any additional adapters that you may need, and they add up quickly. That makes these an exceptional buy.

Suppressors - GSL Technology Suppressor

Does anyone have any experience with GSL Technology Suppressors? The are somewhat of a local manufacturer and I am interested in their multi-caliber suppressor but I haven't heard very many reviews about the quality. Any info would help, thank you.

I would take a look at YHM Resonator K. It’s a sweet little can rated for a 300 rum. I plan on using it on my 5.56, 6.5 cm, 300 prc.

Honestly if you are on a budget and have some handyman skills I’d look at building a can on a Form 1. You can build a direct thread model that is very effective and cheap. AND the wait is far far shorter then a Form 4 purchase. Between $500-600 including the stamp and you’d be set. That will get you addicted enough to where you’ll end up buying more anyways. But if you don’t want to spend $1K+ then that’s what I would do. Or, if you do decide to spend the money for ONE can then my choice would the TBAC Ultra 9 30 cal.

I don't know how to "legally" build a can. I keep hearing you have to keep the parts in separate places and all kinds of really weird stuff.

I guess I'll look into it. I want to be 100% legal and only wish to reduce recoil and not harm hearing. Guilty until proven innocent, I guess.

Nothing illegal with building a can with an approved form 1. That’s the key, you cannot build the can until the form 1 is approved.

I have 1 AR I’d use it on but don’t have to. Semi long guns don’t interest me much, so...

I like SilencerCo Omega 30. It’s light, small and very quiet! I use it on everything under 30 cal that’s not rimfire. I use their Sparrow 22 for that. Both rated full auto. The Omega is rated to at least 300 WBY. I’ve not inquired about 300 PRC. They are easy to get a hold of on the phone and offer fast maintenance if you have to send it back for any reason.

If you truly only want 1 can, I would say tbac ultra 7 30 cal, they are fantastic and very light. but for the price of it, ~$12-1300 including cost of stamp, you could get a YHM resonator and a resonator k to have a full size and a shorter can. Could switch them between all rifles that you put the muzzle device on. I am a big fan of YHM's mounting system it is rock solid and is very consistent, and their muzzle devices are cheaper than just about everyone else's, they are around $60-70.

TBAC ultra 7/9 would be a great option unless you are wanting to do mag dumps. Alternatively my favorite is a Rugged Surge for overall versatility . Rock solid mount, gives you two different lengths, is full auto rated and has no barrel length restrictions even for the 300 RUM.

I'm in the same boat. TBAC would be nice to get, but $1000-$1200 for the can alone is passed my price cap. The Nomad looks like a solid choice, it's direct thread but you can put another mounting system on it. Griffin has a Plan A deal for the Nomad if you decide to use that over Keymo, planb, direct thread etc. I'm actually leaning towards the YHM Resonator R2, slightly heavier, substantially cheaper, and great performance. I just need to price shop since I'm thrifty(cheap) and I'll wait until July 4th in case there are any crazy sales that might sway me in another direction.

I’ve only got one can (for now), and it serves four of my rifles. A 16” 308, 26” 308, 300 BLK, and 6.5x47. It is constantly on the move between rifles. The zero never shifts between any of them each time it goes on. Minimum but repeatable shift when it’s off. Suppression levels are great on all the rifles. The can is very lightweight and screws on and off quickly. Customer service is top notch. I’d highly recommend it. It’s a TBAC Ultra 7. Each rifle wears either the TBAC CB mount or TBAC Flash hider mount.

i understand budget, but there have been a few companies that have come and gone that were supposed to be the next best thing. my vote is to save a little more and go with a thunderbeast. you get what you pay for.
