Oh you have got something going here.
I am not so old that I rode board track but close to it. All of mine was on dirt tracks and most of them are no longer even around, covered with housing etc. So long Ascot Park with the duck pond and many other great race tracks.

Actually, that is an interesting link! I learned something today. My only exposure to the Kurgan was the bad '80s Highlander movie... which is so bad that I actually rather enjoy it. I had no idea that the 'character' was based on an actual theory! Today's a good day. I learned something.

I got the reference, Clancy Brown is one of my favorite actors and he absolutely killed his portrayal of a deranged psycho in that movie
