Sizing question

New brass from Winchester. Do I need to full size or neck size for the first reload. All my old brass has been shot in my gun so I only neck size to reload.

I always size new brass, but it's optional. If you buy them bulk in a bag, sometimes the case mouths are a little dented. Kinda begs the question, donut? BB

I always process my new cases just as if they were fired, I guess I am hoping to achieve a consistency factor of some sort.

full size.. or you may get to spend a long session with your bullet puller if something isn't right on the new brass.

I'd recommend FL resizing.
I tried loading new Lapua brass without processing it once and I had problems with inconsistent neck tension and chambering some of the rounds was impossible.

New brass just run a mandrel through it.

+1 ^^^ Exactly, or just push the expander through it and pull it back through to true the neck/mouth then fire away

Neck size new brass. If the mouths are dented, mandrel them out first

I size and trim, primer pockets, flash holes. Just like range brass. It gives me a good consistency.
