But the difference between a slaughter-bot and the drone you can buy at your local store, is not much more than a firmware upgrade that anyone with a USB Dongle and a laptop could do, and a small bit of explosive material. In a couple decades, slaughter-bot software will be on every torrent download website out there and it won't be long after that when someone uses it to kill an innocent person or use it for terrorism.
