Moreover, what in the hell does it say about those of us who struggled to maintain an unpopular (with others) status quo?

Are we so far gone that the common man has no grasp of basic logic and only responds to bread and circus pie-in-the-sky promises?

How in the hell does an Ocasio-Cortez garner nearly 80% of the vote anywhere outside of a Venezuela?

And just what happens now that they have half of what they wanted? Are they going to go off even worse than they have in the recent past?

The hell with civility if we have to suffer the hubris of Nancy Pelosi, et al. and their machinations to destroy the day-to-day function of government.

My disgust with the mindless soccer moms and the bought-and-paid-for political machine hacks is extreme.

Feels like someone close died . Now we're back to legislated insanity . Republicans with no balls will crumble to the slightest effin pressure . We should have just voted straight Dem and got on with it . Welp the cheap ammo was to good to be true anyway . Wonder how long before the panic buying again ?

the panic buying has started in wa. What pissed me off is it’s been the last few days. People have been saying oh you’re out of ar mags ? Out of ak mags? The shelf was full the last two years. I told people buy you’re ammo buy you’re mags now buy you’re guns while cheap. But I’m young . No one listens. Now they all act l helpless and bitch and moan . A lot of gun owners I talk to didn’t vote. “Oh I never got anything in the mail” was a generic response today.

Trump said if the Dems take the house that he will figure it out. It could be cool to watch. But with 50% of America willing to sell themselves into Dem slavery its hard to see any good coming.

I'm not sure how to feel. Certainly not good, but as I was taking the dogs on the morning walk I was thinking I felt this same way when Barrack Hussein Obama was re-elected in 2012. How could the country not see that he was an imposter POS and the worst president in the history of our great land?

It does speak volumes when half the country elects admitted socialists communists. The really depressing thing is, if they get elected and they just leave me alone it would be one thing, but they won't stop until they control every part of our lives. If the Senate doesn't get some testicular fortitude, then taxes will be through the roof and personal freedoms gone.

And why can't RBG just die already?

I am disappointed that we lost the House, but it was probably a bridge too far. Too many GOP retirements in districts won by Hitlery. Also, I think Paul Ryan and the rest of the GOP-swamp dwellers were passive-aggressive and did not fight hard enough. This is the time to flush the rest of them.

I am pleased that the GOP gained seats in the Senate, which will allow Trump to continue to make progress on his agenda.

In Florida, DeSantis was Trump's pick over Putnam (a "more electable candidate"), which raised the stakes for that race, but we did squeak that one out.

Replacing do-nothing Nelson with Scott was a win as well for our State and Nation.

I am now expecting a civil war in the Democratic Party. Should be fun to watch. If they are strategic, they will flush Pelosi. They keep her at their detriment.

What will happen in the power struggle between DJT/Senate on one side, and the Progressives/HOR on the other?

The 25 meter target will be the caravan.

Next up will be the tax package part deux.

Overall, I consider yesterday a win for America!

traditionally (at least recent tradition) the house usually goes to whatever party that is opposite to the president. That said, I cannot possibly see how anybody can vote dem. What is very unsettling is the fact that traditionally red states were a lot closer than ever.....

As a general rule, people are stupid as $h!+. Place them in an environment where they don't have to learn or work hard to survive, and they embrace that moniker with enthusiasm. That's pretty much the reason we have such a large number of democrats in this country....relatively speaking, this society is very "soft" on its people. You take that, and throw in a massive sugar teat to keep everyone entertained and placid; and you get a docile population of imbeciles. Once that condition has set in, all you have to do to get them lathered up is threaten it in some way - either take it away, tell them someone else will take it away, or tell them they need to pay for it.....especially their games and their pork. They'll become a nightmare force straight out of one of those "fast zombie" movies.

You ever wonder why "scientists" have "evidence" that the frontal lobe is "not fully developed" until one is around the mid-20s? What do you think would happen if you carried a child everywhere for longer than you should? How do you think it would affect the development of his walking ability?

Yeah...pretty much the same thing going on here. It's like a leftist wet dream - hordes of drooling moron zombies one can unleash at the drop of a hat with vague platitudes combined with, basically, stories about "the bogeyman". No work is required....that is, until you need people who contribute something of value to the universe, and it turns out they are extinct.

The good thing is, those who do contribute something are become more and more aware of the whole "extinction" threat; so a lot of them are in the right state of mind to contribute some REAL "value" to the process.

The media and educational playing fields need to somehow be adjusted.
Television news is dominated by liberals.
Social media is dominated and controlled by liberals, to the point that anything remotely against them gets banned.
Colleges are almost all overtly liberal now, and K-12 is well on its way.


Somehow the people who are being tasked with building things, fixing things, inventing things, giving them money, and growing their food need to come together and put the brakes on all of it. It's absurd that we're footing the bills for America's heavy drift towards globalism and socialism.

A nationwide day walkout by all (or even most) Republican voters will get this country's attention. The same thing for a week straight will bring it to its knees.

Precisely. No fuel deliveries. No Infrastructure maintenance and repairs. No food deliveries.
Sadly, there's no inkling of such a thing happening. Our "leaders" are weak and complicit. They are professional politicians who profit regardless of which way the balance of power tilts from one election to the next.

Trump retains judicial control with the Senate majority. That's a decent strength, but it's hardly enough. We are closer than we think to some breaking points.

In our local here in the Tampa area voters passed two new sales taxes.
One supposedly covers infrastructure like road repair, new roads (most likely toll roads) and bus type transportation.

Our buses are nearly empty most of the time. I can't figure out why we're wanting to spend more on an under utilized system.

Another covers air conditioning repairs for schools.

I look at both needs as mis-management of pre existing funds.

While that was happening, voters shot down personal savings via the increase in homestead tax savings.

My only take from this is the non workers, non tax payers, non home owners must have voted these things in.

Schools are now controlled by Google.

Google classroom is pervasive.

I dont know what the fuck teachers do these days.

Kids open their chrome books and start going through Google classroom modules on the screen.

Fucking modules even have pop up advertisements for shit like the local PBS station.

Kids email account is ridiculous with emailas from school about Google excercises, thinking Google auto spams the shit when they enroll.

You can bet your ass this Google school work is generating an individual profile for each student - who is smart, who isnt, who thinks "correct", who doesnt.

I know Im not the only one with their kid doing this shit.

Everyone worries about what text books Texas is going to choose but kids dont use text books anymore - too expensive and too easy for parents to see the lesson plan - now its work sheets and Chrome books.

In MA those type tax increases go into the general fund and never get spent on what they are earmarked for.

What does that “homestead” tax savings even mean? I tried looking it up but couldn’t find a single definite answer as to just what they were meaning for it.
