Picked up another M1A shorty and I’m curious if the Arch Angel stock is decent or should I spring for a VLTOR or Sage instead? The factory Springfield synthetic stock just feels flimsy and too light. It’s a 50-300yd tool likely for close work. Ideas from anyone with the same or similar setups would be appreciated.

Ive had one of these sitting around for a few years, dont care for any of the chassis options. Im gonna put mine in walnut and bed it. But for now my match gear is eating all my fun money.

another option, though expensive and heavy is the JAE system. again I have no personal experience, but they are well liked in both the bolt and M1A world.
Indeed well liked though I don’t believe I’d invest in a $1900 stock for a 16” M1A. It’d be more suited for a Loaded or NM in my opinion. And I love JAE rigs...!
