I can PM pictures if needed, I recently ordered this tripod but have decided to go with the PRO39-MIL instead. Comes with the black carrying case, I haven't left the house with this tripod so its basically brand new. $500 plus shipping Paypal FF.

Ilya Koshkin has a video review of these tripods in the optics section if you want to check them out.

Thanks

Just the tripod, I have an anvil 30 I use.

I would rather go with the 39 because I’ll pay the weight penalty for the increase in stability. This tripod’s not bad by any stretch, and it’s a vast improvement over my manfrotto. For the most part everyone I shoot with is running RRS 33’s (which have 37mm legs) but I just can’t swing the $$. These tripods check a lot of boxes for me: American Made, 3 leg sections, and affordable. The 32 is a really good tripod and much better for someone looking to use it for hunting and competition, the 39 is heavy enough that most folks might not want to carry it far fro the truck. I was torn when I got this one as to which one I wanted, so partially my curiosity may be to blame for wanting to try the 39.

Hope that helps.

Appreciate the answers. I've been debating this or the 39 myself and am still undecided.

I can say that the OP is correct in his thinking. I have both models (32 and 39), I can say that the 32 I use specifically for hunting, especially out of a blind and stalking game in the high country. It carries light and packs easy. The 39 I use only for rock sold long range shooting off of. Not that I use the 39 much as I hunt more than I shoot long range but each tripod has its advantages in my opinion.

Yeah, I agonized over which one to get but without having the opportunity to try them out I had to take a leap of faith. There's just not that much info out there yet. I've heard the Marines are supposed to be picking up the 32 in the future, not sure if it's true. It really is the better option for an all around field/hunting tripod

500.00 for this tripod is a deal!! These tripods are far superior than the Manfrotto I had used for years. I would buy one of these again, no doubt about it!
