But the officer did go home safe that.

BTW, thats the same stretch of highway I was stopped and when I told the loser I had a handgun in the cab he asked if it was loaded. When I told him yes he said it needed to be unloaded and the 'clip' kept in a separate area of the vehicle.

The cops get in the way today because of Dept politics. The cops , agent and sheriffs am friends with are pissed. Have been for years too. They can't do their job anymore.

Since this is a year old, was he already fired? How much of the story you read about that incident is true? If not, why? Did this lady cause problems, get combative, and get arrested all the time? Did she have something like Ehlers-Dalos syndrome, I work with a lady who can dislocate her shoulder walking down the street.

These questions and more should be going through your head when known sources of disinformation tell you whom to be mad at. I know my local police and i know if i ever got stopped they would treat me like a person instead of just some criminal. I watched her get arrested and it looked like any other arrest. Then when i read about how the booking and jailing screwed the pooch on getting her help is when i said yeah, it was a shitty deal. Do i think she should have been arrested? Yes. Do i think they got too rough with her? Maybe but old people are frail and like i said before, ive broken ribs on people saving their life before and nobody said i was the bad guy. Do i think she was mistreated once booked. Absolutely. In the end am i gonna lose sleep over a theif getting caught? Nope. If this was my grandma would i care? My grandma had dementia, and she stayed at home until she passed with me and my mother taking care of her with help from a home care nurse.
