Actually, Mr. Knight (KAC) invented & designed the picatinny rail that has become "ground breaking" for:
First and foremost, "our military"
Secondly, the "entire" AR commercial market</div></div>

Why is it called the Picatinny rail and not the Reed Knight rail then? It comes from the Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey.
