Most of you still just aren't getting it. I have explained this tjoroughly sans pictures. Yes, the scope will track properly with click values. Just stating the fact that the splines that mate the cap to the turret have the wrong amount of splines to allow perfect alignment of the cap lines to the zero line on the scope body. Loosen the screw, pivot the cap a few splines at a time and eventually you'll find a spot where the lines WILL align perfectly with the indicator on the scope body.
Thread pitch has no bearing on the situation here. "T" was just having some fun.
And to those who don't "get it", this is not dogging on the scope. Don't let it bother you unless you are anal.
