It's not for the lack of corruption on the part of our government we aren't an easy target.

So much so the govt had to keep every able male from leaving.

If Ukraine was a island nation or surrounded by countries which will not allow refugees like in Africa, or Austria/England it would be a very different percentage.
As most of you guys have prob read before…WWII studies have shown that 15-20% of soldiers in a fire fight actually fire their weapon and only a percentage of them actually aim to kill.
Taking all that into account, if more than 30% actually answer truthfully and willingly stay and fight it’s a plus.

Had this very same discussion with a friend a few months ago, long before Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Surprisingly (to me), he stated he would head for the hills while I as a female would stay and fight for my country. We are both veterans and have also both competed in sports on a national level.
San Jacinto is a powerful place. I attended the baptism of a friend of mine in the pool there. Geez, that was near 50 years ago.
