Have a steel arca rail in bare metal. Would like it coated black. What are my options for a coating that will hold up to regular use of sliding arca attachments back and forth on it.
Parkerizing does increase wear resistance some, and is mostly black.
Ceracoat. Obviously very good.
I don’t know which is better, but have seen ceracoat over parkerizing also.
It can be done at home and is fairly inexpensive.
