So over the past week as I start gathering things to build a 223 upper with a 12.5" barrel I have been looking and going insane looking at optics for it.
After contemplating another NX8, then wanting cheaper looking at the NXS, then a Vortex Razor, Vortex Strike Eagle, Sig Tango 4 and 6, Sig Bravo 4, Primary Arms options, and other options I have forgot...I finally find the Steiner P4Xi 1-4x24.
Is this the best budget high end glass out there? I like the BDC reticle, the size of the dot, and the capped turrets.
How bright is the dot? Day light bright, or will it struggle in the summer noon sunlight? My only complaint looking at specs is battery life.
What is a good mount, I want a Geissele but not going to pay $325. Kind of like the NF mounts, they look good for a much more manageable price. And for the million dollar question who has the scope the cheapest? Found it for $580 with the throw lever.
