Stephen Hunter's The Third Bullet

I just finished this book, and I think it just might be Hunter's best BLS book yet. Anyone else read it? Have any thoughts?

Dirty White Boys, hands down my favorite Hunter book.

I agree. In general I love his books and this one has an interesting premise. Unfortunately it just seemed too long and I had to force myself to continue reading.

Where does this one fit in the BLS lifetime? Last one I read he was getting on in years, daughter was in her late 20's or so IIRC, it's been a while...

I enjoyed his books, I'll probably buy the kindle version.

I'm reading Kyle's last publication now. It is solid, I'd recommend it.

Bob is said to be 66 in this book. You have to suspend a little bit of disbelief when you contrast his performance to his age in a few of the scenes. But I like the character, and it is fiction after all, so I cut him some slack.
