I see Steyr has a new rimfire coming in . 22LR, .22 WMR & .17 HMR. 20 inch. I would be interested in hearing a review from anyone attending the NRA Meeting / Exhibits in Atlanta.

I saw some pics of the Steyer Scout RFR. It appears to have an action very similar to my Ishmash Biathlon Tgt rifle. That is a push/pull toggle bolt action. I like that. Steyer has a good reputation. The look of the rifle is nice. I would love to see how it shoots. I love my little Ishmash. It is chunky and the wood stock is not pretty but it works well. It would be perfect it if had a nice laminated stock or a decent polymer stock ala Manners. The Ishmash shoots good but not great. I am sure it has slop in the chamber and action that are required to feed reliably. Hopefully, the Steyer will exceed that benchmark.
