I also do not use a neck brush on brass that I tumbled in SS media. The runout for my loaded rounds is in the .001 - .003 range for the most part.

So the reason is to polish not clean. I did not know that. Sounds like something you would only have to do once. Right?

With the SS media I use the Thumler's Tumbler Model B.

I have a budget around $150.00 for a tumbler and media. Do you know if one can use a standard vibratory tumbler, say, around eighty dollars, with ss media.

Guy on this thread http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthre...454#Post2180454 mentions using vibratory tumbler. Personally not what I would use. Check around on eBay and Craigslist and maybe you can find a used Thumler's model B.
