I would wait and scour the Hide PX thread and for an HS take off stock. They go for about $175-250. Prob one to two a month. You can also put an add in the WTB for the HS take-off.

I agree with the above.

The HS Precision stocks are all over the place...can probably find one on e-bay now.
here are a few...personally I think they're over priced.

some more- again, a little over priced

What's going on these days with this stock...a year ago you could pick one up for less than 200 bucks.

I've never been happy with the Chote or B&C stocks but if all you have is 200 bucks and will never have more money to devote to a stock, they're not bad for the money.

I agree on the McRees Folder!

I need to find a .223 to swap out with my .308 on days I want to shoot little critters

I have one on my 223, it is a $20 piece of plastic, but if you fit it correctly, will extend your mag capacity to 8 or 9. The spec says 9 but 8 is more realistic. The extender comes on the thick side of tolerance, so you will have to do a little filing, but it works fine. I use the rifle for prairie dogs and steel, not competition so it functions for what I need.

so about how much fiting do i need to do if it requires alot of work to get it to work its not worth the 20 dollars in my opinion
