stock recommendations for a remington VTR (UPDATE)

Re: stock recommendations for a remington VTR

Options are going to be all over the board, from $100-$1000, have a price in mind? Also what will your intended use be, light for hunting, heavy for target? Good economical option is HS precision take off stocks from 5r's and 700P's for about 200. McMillan and Manners for your 500+ price point.

Do a little looking around and then your head will probably start spinning with all the options

...will you be my friend?

seriously though depends on what your doing, packing out, staying mobile, or staying stationary. what don't you like about the factory stock for your application (hunting)?

Re: stock recommendations for a remington VTR

this is just going to be a truck gun for coyote hunting here in Iowa (12 inches of snow) and a speed goat gun I have a couple of Mannners stocks and a few rifles with hs stocks on them just looking for something light and probably leaning toward the mannners or the hs just need someone to push me over the edge LOL!

thanks for all the suggestions!
