Hello all,
Weird request.

Need a scope for my 300wsm and don't want to drop $500. I have a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 and am looking at the 3-10x50 scopes they have.
However, I would like a scope with an exposed elevation turret. Thought about purchasing the Falcon Menace, but ran across the Stoney Point Target Knobs. Only problem is they are made for Leupold not Vortex. I have a Leupold on my muzzleloader and decided to see if the turret covers would swap and they do.

Long story short, Looking for someone who has the Stoney point knobs for the leupold and a vortex diamond back scope to see if they would work on the vortex.

Thanks,
Nate

I just dont find them to be a robust optic. I dont think anyone would argue that the Diamonback is a lower quality scope than the HS/PST lines, and yet a simple search on this site alone will yield a litany of threads calling attention to issues within those lines.

I really couldn't find anything. I have the diamondback on my Ar coyote gun. Gets thrown in and out of my truck quite a bit. Never had any issues with losing a zero. Glass seems to be as good as my VX-1 leupold.
Vortex also has a better warranty program than most.

Seems like they cant be too bad. A few years ago, you never heard of Vortex, now they are almost everywhere.
