Stupid Question - Reloading Room Smell

Hi all, I'm planning on getting into reloading soon and my current living conditions don't give me a separate room to perform this in. Was thinking of setting up a small sturdy table in our bedroom, stupid question is.......is this going to stink up our room with powder and other smells? To me that would be like having a nice air wick but not sure my wife would like it very much.

You know, I never thought of that. I'm setting up in a room in the house, and just never thought about the smell.

Luckily, I have no wife to offend, so I can just revel in the smells of Man-Wick.

Nothing compared to smell when you're cleaning guns. That's the biggest odor, oils, solvents, etc. next is the rubber flooring mat I put down to protect the carpet.

I reload in my garage but keep powders, primers in my house.
I've never smelled anything related to those and I sit only 5-6ft away on the computer.

Agree with DanGuy, if you keep solvents near where you reload you will smell that over everything else.

No problem...check the various lubes as mentioned. Some stink, some are odorless. Powder can have an odor, but keeping the lids on usually controls that. I always told my wife that having that in her bedroom kept me out of another woman's. So far that excuse has worked for 48 years.

Thanks everyone for the info, I'll give it a shot and see how it goes. As far as cleaning the guns in the room...done that and the oils do give a bit of aroma for a couple of days, guess that's what prompted my question since the reloading supplies will be stored above the table in the room.

How do you use the lemishine in cleaning your brass? Is that the detergent or something different? Sorry for another stupid question but I'm still not fully familiar with the reloading operation. Have watched a couple of videos, that's about it. Plan on getting the RCBS supreme kit from Cabellas, the $799.00 model.

Some people add it to the stainless steel media in their tumblers to clean a little better. I use it in my ultrasonic, with a bit of dawn, cleans brass inside and out perfectly. It also adds a nice scent to my reloading room if you spill enough of it

8lbs of Varget should freshen up your room.

I wouldn't set it up where you sleep. You don't want to be exposed to VOC's for long period of time.
