any reloads out there with 77 gr or 69 gr Sierras that are truly subsonic? For use with a suppressor.

if you have 8 twist or faster give trailboss a try, i think around 3-4grains, sounds silly but it really different powder. i could be mistaken, but i can tell you for sure you can fill the case with trailboss and any 223 bullet and you won't have to worry about overpressure.

bolt gun, we shot it out of tikke varmint 8 twist but it was awhile ago so i can't remember off the top of my head.
don't think a ar will cycle with this light of a load.

I run 5 grains of IMR Trail Boss w/ 75gr AMAXS and I have a 1/8 twist 16 3/4" barrel on my bolt gun w/ a HALO GemTech Quick Detach suppressor and it is subsonic. If I go 5.1 grains then I go super-sonic.

I have been loading and shooting subsonic for years in a 223. Give Blue Dot and Red Dot a try, both work really well for reduced 223. Loads , there is a member on the<span style="font-weight: bold"> Accurate Reloading Forums named Seafire</span> , his data is the data I started out with and it works well since that time I have used his initial load development for loading a wide range of bullets. I went heavier than he did as he stopped at 55 grains IIRC.
