I am planning on getting an Accuracy International AW and I was wondering if there were any suppressors that work with the tactical muzzle brake or if I will to replace it with a different brake?

You are going to have to remove the factory brake and get a suppressor that is threaded in M18x1.5 or find a suppressor that has a mount that is threaded in the M18x1.5. Or you can have your barrel cut down and threaded to the more common 5/8x24.

I ordered my AW without the factory metric threads and then had it threaded to 5/8x24 once it arrived. This way it would work with the Tiger Shark I already have and most other commonly found 30 cal suppressors.

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT: JUST A STAEMENT OF FACT
AI has shifted to teh use of SAS cans. You will not be able to get a covert can, but SAS can get you behind a can with teh right threads for the factory threaded barrels. There is a reason why AI chose SAS. You may want to give Stacey a PM for some details.
Otherwise this just becomes a what can does everyone feel is teh best buy for the buck or what everyone likes the best. At any rate, any Mfg. will be able to get you a can that fits the factory threads if that's teh way your barrel is coming.

The tiger shark would be the can to get since you can order multiple end plates with different thread pitches. I have an end plate for 5/8x24 and another in M18x1.0 for the trg and another for the .223.

Thats what I thought. The main reason I was asking was because I was on the rifle build page and was seeing if there was any practical reason to order the threaded tactical muzzle brake other than looks. But since I like the way it looks I will probably order it anyway lol!
