I've been wondering about this for a while and would like to hear some opinions. I think many of us here have at least one bolt action rifle, one AR15 in .223, and one 22LR. If you were going to buy a designated can for each one, what would you pick? With these 3 types of cans, I'd most likely be able to suppress anything I'd ever buy again, or build. Just wondering. I'd like to buy the least amount of cans to cover all my guns.

30P-1 for all of my bolt guns.
SS Sparrow for all my 22LR pistols and rifles
And maybe a a Specwar 223 for my ARs.

My current game plan...

726-SDN (any day now....) - For AR's..300blk and 223
30p-1 (ordered back in August) for bolt guns
Sprectre II (own) for my 22lr needs
Osprey45 (own) for pistols
THunderbeast arms 338lapua can (need to order)

With those 5 i can cover anything i would shoot pretty frequently. There other cans I'd love to have ot mess around with but those 5 cover me pretty dang well. A suppressed 458socom would be fun though

You've got a pretty good list I think. Id do the 7.62 specwar in case you get an AR10 in 308 or 6.5CM later. I went griffin armament PHS338 instead of the 338BA mainly because it was damn near half the price and had a good reputation. I should know how it stacks up to the TBAC in the next month or so. Id go with the octane 45hd since its user serviceable which will allow you to shoot cast bullets should you ever want to do that.

Looks like a solid plan to me. Maybe add the AAC new 45 ti-rant short.

I went 7.62SD-6 for 308
30BA & Q-sand for 300WM
m4-2000 and mini4 for AR's

I want to grab up a sparrow.
