I bought 2 PADDED gun cases recently, and I was really worried about them getting damaged in transit.

Shipped in a box 2x larger than necessary, and padded with a garbage bag full of airbags. Ya just gotta laugh. Chuckle, and shake your head.

On the other hand, go ahead and buy several boxes of bullets from Midway, and then maybe throw a few fragile items into the mix. You'll get 41 lbs of product shipped in a single-wall corrugated box, with only a single wad of crumpled paper to keep the contents from shifting as UPS performs its proprietary drop-testing methods several times. The package will track itself by leaving a constant dribble of Sierra Match Kings, kinda like a trail of breadcrumbs. The containers that didn't break open will have acted upon the other contents in roughly the same manner as a deadblow hammer.

Exactly. They are assholes when it comes to properly packing match grade components. I used to buy Lapua bullets and brass from them and they almost always came broken open in the smashed box, having been routed through the weekly UPS football game.......

When I complained the lady said “Well you’re going to run the brass through a sizer anyway, right” 😳

    Buy from Powder Valley.
Or MHS (though I will admit I have never had an item shipped from them, I just pick it up).

    Top notch packing from PV.

And screw Midway and their Chinesium junk.
Buy an Allen case made in the USA for a basic padded case, or any number of Hide supporting companies for something a little fancier.

Powder Valley and Mile High do a great job!
