And as you can see in my post, I was quite pissed off after waiting FOUR MONTHS. And whether or not this was a "pre-order" I do not even know because I was sold this over the phone by a SWFA sales rep when I called in for the failed "10,000 likes" promo SH did on Facebook. I'm sure I wasn't the only one that didn't know SWFA decided they didn't reach the 10k soon enough so they backed out. (Now who's Impatient?) Nor did anyone ever say, "keep your fingers crossed that the other Optic in this deal ever shows up bud". When spending over a thousand of my hard earned dollars with a company let alone over $2,000, I would have appreciated, at the very least, an apology for having taken over four months. Or given some light to look toward at the end of the tunnel. Plus I was looking to spend another $3,500 for a PVS-14 and a $1,500 ACOG which I would would have considered SWFA for. Their loss. (THANK YOU GG&G!)
Hell, just spending only a few bucks at AZARMAMANT on a MAGPUL butt end that came broken ended up with a sincere apology and a replacement butt end put in the mail that same day. THAT is the way a company should be if they want to keep someone's business. Especially in the on-line market where someone isn't stuck buying from any one particular company.
And for anyone who does care, the follow up to all that, it SWFA did indeed refund my money... after 6 weeks of mistakes and false emails of how the returned funds were being denied by MY credit card. NOT. This problem, I was told, was due to it having been so long (yeah, tell me about it) But admittedly, SWFA's "fault" or glich really. And although it saddened me to return that beautiful optic, I was MUCH happier to have my $$$$$!
BTW - It's OK, if I read this, I'd probably hate me too...</div></div>
