Don't worry yourself over one guys problem with his cheek weld.
5-20 is worth the $.
That being said. I need my 1-6x </div></div>
I am shooting an FN PBR, badger rings/base, Karsten cheek riser, and was shooting from multiple positions with about 6 hours of shooting through the afternoon and into the fading light of dusk. Its not the greatest rifle setup, but it works well for me, and its fun to shoot. I wasn't doing anything crazy, just shooting from multiple positions at different distances testing out the various fields of magnification.
I wear glasses, and tried with both glasses and contacts to see if maybe that was the issue - didn't help.
It didn't matter where I had the scope set, or where I had my cheek, I couldn't really defeat the tight eyebox issue at 20x. I had it to where I could get a clear picture shooting from a bench rest, but then I had major difficulty with eyebox issues while prone. I could fiddle with my weld and get a sight picture, but it wasn't comfortable or quick.
I also had someone else behind the glass take some shots from a couple of positions. He complained of the same issue, so it isn't just me.
I'm not trying to slam the scope - I'm asking if anyone else has run into similar issues, and if you did, how did you work past it?
