I called yesterday to order a scope for a new .22 rifle and they had my order packaged and ready to ship out. My order number is 190709 and was placed on 5/21/2012. Scopes should be here before the end of the week.

Mine showed up today and I am absolutely thrilled with the reticle - I can't wait to try this out. I was a bit surprised by the eye relief, though - as there is so much.
It comes with 2 batteries, an allen wrench. the caps, the thread protectors, and the scope. The scope has a storage compartment for the extra battery.

The donut reticle is at 1x and the crosshair is at 6x. there are better pics out there of the reticle, so i was just giving an idea.

This will find its home on my rifle tomorrow when my SWFA SSALT mount gets here. I don't need a QD mount, so I think the SSALT will be fine for my needs. With this crazy eye relief, I might need to toss it into my Primary Arms deluxe extended mount, though. lol.

All the adjustments are firm clicks. not too audible, but you can definitely feel the click, which is more important to me.

I see the turret covers are now shipping with new scopes? If I remember correctly, the first batches shipped with just a promise turret covers would come later..

The 1-6 switch view will be similar to the single screw 5-20x50.
Not only will it fit the 1-6 power ring properly it will allow for more clearance on some mounts.

Anyone know what the $1.99 offline order adjustment charge is? Are the rest of you guys seeing this? I haven't looked at my account or heard anything from SWFA about this scope since I ordered it. I got my 5-20 long ago and decided I better log on just to check on the status for the first time tonight. I see I'm getting charged this fee. I'm going to give them a call and tomorrow and see what it is. This has been a horrible experience all the way through with constant lies, and it's not really comforting to log in to see random charges being billed to me.

Considering the climate we are in with all things gun related, and how many people want one of these scopes, you could probably get close to full price if you have one in hand. No one knows how long it's gonna take SWFA to catch up and fill all the orders out there. Let the market decide what they will pay for it.

Normally, most SWFA scopes sell at $100 - $200 less than full price, or what you'd see for one on the SWFA sample list, but since this is a new scope, they are in high demand and short supply, you probably won't have to discount it much or at all given that you can't buy one for a sale or group buy price right now. Others may feel differently, but if you have the scope, you get to set the price and garner any return you get. Right or wrong, that's the way the market works.

I'da paid you $1000 for the scope today if I wasn't in on the deal in the first place. I was prepared to do that if there was never the swfa group buy.

I've had it for a month or so, still love it. For $800 I'm beside myself... Like, "Are you kidding me? $800?" I'd be all over that one all day long.. Because all the features and everything about this one I'd expect to pay more than 1k for it from any of the "better" competitors.

I've been following this topic for a long time now. I got in on the 5-20/1-6 combo at the last minute, ordered on 5/23/2012 and received my 5-20x almost right away. It looks like a nice scope but to be honest I have mounted it, but still haven't shot with it. I bought it to do some long range test loads for 3-gun with something better than my 1-4x Burris Tac30, but haven't gotten around to it. I've be contemplating canceling the 1-6 order and even returning the 5-20... but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I was tempted again to cancel when word of the reticle change came out, but then I was curious as to what it would be.... now that it's out and in hands, the pics of the scope look really good. I'm almost excited again. Looks like my scope will be here soon. I just hope it's as good at 1x as my Tac30.

That was my feeling as well up until it actually shipped. Now I can't wait to check it out. To be honest though, I really don't have a gun to put it on anymore so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I may list mine as well. I just want to look through it.

Mine arrived yesterday, without caps, but looks great. I hope to mount it this weekend and take it to the range next week.Although that may be a little tricky because all I have are 30 rd mags and Connecticut just passed it's new gun laws...never mind, different topic. I am curious about the reticle adjustment turret. Several stops on the turret do not seem to change anything. Turning it will go from non-illuminated to illuminated and different levels of illumination, but several stops do nothing else but show the non illuminated reticle and in no particular order? maybe I am missing something as I only opened the box and played with it for a short time. Otherwise it is a thing of beauty, glass is awesome, reticle design is great. Thanks for any help and will post results (if I don't get arrested for the whole 30 rd mag thing!).

I think the in between clicks are off posistions so you don't have to go all the way through all of them to turn illumination off.

That's what I would guess also, but it will rotate 5 or 6 clicks on the "off" position then seem to be random on/off/low ? I would have liked to have some literature come with it, but I'll use it some more and see. Then call SWFA.Thanks.

on (IIRC) mine, every illumination level is followed by an off position. the off positions are marked by dots, the on positions are marked by their illumination level.
