True, but that's why most of us bought them back in the day. And that's why many still buy them today.

I owned one of the early 10x back in the late 90s with mil dot and moa turrets. . I got it because it was a great scope, especially for the price. I think I was an e4 or e5 at the time, so money was not plentiful and I couldn't justify the leupold mk4m3 at the time.

One of those things I’m glad I didn’t get rid of. Has bounced around from rifle to rifle and now lives on a 300blk woods gun. Kinda wish I had another.

Picked up 3 of the midwayusa weaver grand slam tacticals over the years. They work great on my PCP air rifles and for woods squirrel distances. I keep the objective lense loose as a make shift parallax adjuster.

They all have parallax adjustments. Either side or rear forward of the occular/ objective lense focuse. The objective lense is to focused the reticle.

I Was talking about a different scope than the SWFA fixed powers. I do have a 6x SWFA, but was referring to the super deal of the Midway sold Weaver Tactical scopes that were made in Japan, zero resetable turrets, mil/mil dot reticle and 1" tube. They were a super buy at $200. Natchez took them over after Midway stopped selling them and eventually got fazed out when Weaver folded. The Weavers had no parallax adjustment but if you turned the objective end (opposite the occular eye end) you could change the parallax. Same with a lot of non parallax adj scopes.
