I have Savage Ba10 which has a swivel stud for attaching the bipod.

I want to buy an Atlas Bipod which attaches only to Picatinny rails.

Does anyone own a "UTG Swivel Stud Picatinny Slot Adaptor" which
adapts a swivel stud to a very short picatinny rail for use with a bipod?

adapter here: UTG Swivel Stud Picatinny Slot Adaptor

May have found a better option, anyone use one of these?

I thought so too for the UTG adapter but the Weaver adapter would probably work well.

The Seekins Precisions Sling Rail System would be great, but it won't adapt to the Swivel stud mounting system on my rifle.

Check out the Weaver adapter below. It will use my existing Swivel Stud hole and should be long enough to hold the Atlas Bipod -- yes?

I am betting it will. It will just require you to drill two holes and screw it into the bottom of your rifle.

It's really not a big deal. It just requires the confidence that you are doing what needs to be done.

Attaching a $200+ bipod to a $2000+ rifle with a cheap, poorly made part is just not a good idea in my opinion.

I tried using that, it's pretty crappy to be honest. Too easy to knock it out of position.

You have used the UTG adaptor for the Atlas Bipod? Did you think it was a
good solution? Was it a solid mount? thanks

I have used the UTG attachment (or one very similar) for my atlas. Im not around my place right now so cant look at the actual adapter I use. It is not the best and is a hair short and took some modification to make it work. In the end it works fine and does hold the Atlas on there just fine, all that said I will be changing mine out. Going to do what Lone Wold described. Its the best option and looks way better.

Just my two cents

Agree that Lone Wolf option is looking definitely like the way to go.

Thanks for all your replies.
