I finally decided to go thought the process and buy a can. The host is an Armalite AR-10 SASS in 7.62/308. I have a NF 3.5-15x50 with an Aadland mount, SSA trigger and a few other mods. For those not familiar with this particular AR-10, it comes with an adjustable gas block. It has two settings one for normal and the other for suppressed. The rifle sees some field use, however its mainly range, some coyotes, and hogs if I ever get the chance. I have been doing a lot of reading on here and goggle and made some phone calls. Correct me if I am wrong since this is my first personal suppressor. SWR uses a mount similar to the AAC minus the ping and a different, and as some say more secure lockup to reduce the possibility of a baffle strike. I am not in anyway knocking AAC or any other manufacture. The SWR Specwar appears to be reasonably priced. I understand the buy once cry once especially on optics, and the cheap / reliable pick one phrases. From the videos and various amounts of source material I have searched it also appears to have a minimal POI shift but can handle rapid fire on my 5.56 if I chose to do so. It is also middle of the road in weight between the AAC and YHM Phantom. Are there any current Specwar owners out there the can chime in on this suppressor and any experiences with SWR? I have read SWR is now affiliated with SilencerCo.
Thanks

I'm interested in this too. Getting ready to hook up on an AI AE MKiii. Been eyeing the Specwar 762 ever since Shot Show. Read a blog on Silencershop that me think twice...more towards direct connect. Since then been leaning towards the 30p-1. I still like the idea of the specwar. Advantages like using it on my AI, Sig 556R, etc. Any info appreciated as well.

I also have a TBAC 30p-1 and that is my favorite suppressor out of all the ones I own. I use it on all my precision weapons and any hunting rifles that are not rapid fire.

Yeah, that looks badass. My coworker is considering one, and I almost want one in addition to the AAC one I have. The mount looks solid, the baffles from some kind of unobtainium (er, "Proprietary PolyMimetic high temperature alloy") that they advertise is better than Inconel for heat. Get one and tell me how great it is...8 months to a year from now. *cough*
