Tac Ops Rifles

I’m not at the point of calling yet, but will within the next couple months once I figure out exactly what I want to do.

Things I need to come to a decision on:
Caliber
Barrel length
Stock type

I’d like a 20 inch 308, but a 300WM would be nice. Don’t want a McMillan A5, but definitely want an adjustable cheek rest. Want a sling stud to mount a Harris bipod on (seriously)

The Alpha, Echo, and Sierra seem to be my favorites so far.
Whereabouts are you located? Might be a TacOps owner near you willing to show and tell.

I'd say get a .300, but that's because I'm leaning that way for my own next one. Delta .300WM suppressed with DBM.

With your user name you definitely need to be a Tac Ops owner LOL

Oh I love that about my Win Mag. I don’t even have a break and people bitch and move away. Hear the complaints about that cannon that guy is shooting.
Mike's brake is a work of art and reflects my personality. A wonder for people standing directly behind me (friends) and for myself, and an absolute menace for people to the sides. A lot of thought went into this design for sure, like everything he makes.
I'd say it's even better than the Area419 brakes lol, I had my buddy shoot a 4 port next to me and it wasn't that bad. When I shot mine, my other friend said he felt it all the way in his shoes lmao.

I used to have a Pachmayr Dominator to chase away the riff-raff.
It's a bolt-action .308 upper for a model 1911. With a 14" barrel. Huge fireball even in daylight. :)
Yeah. Way too many carpetbaggers rolling up in Teslas. We had unlimited night shooting privileges until employees of a certain gun store in Charlotte abused the privilege and nearly set the range on fire at night shooting Raufoss from an M2.

Oh maybe so but I think they all look a little different in natural light. More brown-yellow-ish
Maybe.

There was a period where he had made some using a different color finish for a specific order. Some peeps were able to get their guns made with that finish also.

If I remember right it was a one off never to be repeated.

Mike will be able to fill in the facts of my talking out my ass.

Finally shot center fire yesterday..prob been almost a year

Had a NF beast sitting on the shelf in the box so I tossed it on my m40a1

Harris bipod (have to keep it old school with a m40)

Rear bag

Fgm 168 (although it might be mixed with 175, dumbass had both boxes in the bench and didn’t notice lol)

Funny part is I haven’t shot a internal mag since last time I shot this rifle which was forever ago..forgot how fun it is to shoot different style rifles.

Need to add a little more padding under the cheek pad, was searching a little.

First 3 after zeroing

Had to use a cut/empty spot on the vert part of the ret as the ret is a little thick (ffp)

I’m guessing .3 +/-
Was keeping it under .5 for the day

Was shooting my AIMC about .5-6 for 5 (I think my axsa has a better barrel than my axmx in 308, usually shoots a solid .5 )

had the shakes for some reason, but I can’t complain as I am rusty as hell and I’m not a 1/4 min shooter most of the time.

I think I sent you the wrong rifle you should probably send it back to me ;)

Mike R.
Over 600 rounds on it now, no lube or cleaning/maintenance of any kind. Still looks/shoots as good as new.
I did order some slip2000 though just to keep the bolt looking good over time.

Only going back as long as it comes back to me with a suppressor attached. :)
Or if I go with it and get to shoot more Tac Ops
