Hunting & Fishing Taking the kids grouper fishing

Went out Saturday for some grouper fishing with my youngest Jeb and his friend Brett. Jeb's been doing this since he was big enough to push the button on a Precision reel but Brett has never caught a grouper. Turned out to be a nice day on the water. The gags and sea bass were hungry and it wasn't long before they were coming in the boat. Finished the day with some nice gags and a bunch of sea bass and big grunts. The little fellas had a big day.....and when we stepped off the boat and started cleaning fish they went right back to fishing off the sea wall. They never get enough at that age! Here are the boys and their gags.

NC is nice for a little of everything. Mountains and ocean all close enough to drive,deer, turkeys, bear, plenty of small game hunting and good offshore/inshore fishing. You are right redirt78....... No problem getting them to sleep after a day of fishing.
