I shot a Taurus of a friend's. It only needed some internal polish and spring tuning and shooting.
This argument is happening because we're trying to justify why we aren't investing in this good deal but spending twice the money for fewer features. Just get one, smith it, replace the front sight with a fiber optic, then the gun won't look like a Taurus and you'll be all cool once again.
Or something similar to a GI Expert. Talk about bang for a buck!
