Agreed. My point is politicians typically push a tax as needed because the use of "whatever" places an additional burden on government resources. When use decreases, they have to find a way to keep the revenue flow the same.

Perhaps (not sure what the shoulder thingy that goes up refers to) but I view this as a slippery slope case and prelude to what’s coming next. The governor those morons elected makes moonbeam look like a staunch conservative by comparison so who knows how far they are willing to go.

Besides, this proposal is designed specifically to pay for benefits given to illegal aliens as if they were US Citizens. Nearly all of CA’s entitlement programs are set up to bolster aliens-their gov couldn’t care less about poor Americans living in the state

I do - it could be replicated in other states with leftist communists at the helm. Just like CA’s gun control framework, the very thing I and fellow Nevadans will be fighting once the Democrat assholes take power here in Jan.
