Has anyone here done this?
I read that you can do this yourself by going out on a hot day and using ammo that has been sitting in the sun, sitting in the shade, sitting in a cooler with ice, and then chronographing (sp?) the different velocities.
Anyone ever done this with different powders to see which powders actually hold up to their claims?
I see a lot of claims out there by powder companies. (8208XBR and Varget come to mind). It'd be nice to know which ones actually hold true.
