Thank you for not letting my laziness forever wound my psyche.

That item really did look cheesy and seemed to include too many features to be workable.

I will tell the GS owner to stick to his milsurp finds. I'm guessing his knowledge is based on the website.

This is a useless post for all but the few individuals familiar with one I posted previously. May the whole matter just fade into oblivion - I'll stick with my two year plan. Too funny.

VJJ, you're always the charmer.

pmclaine, glad you're on a better track. I'd look into something like the Vortex PST FFP mil/mil scopes or the SWFA SS 5-20 HD which is also FFP mil/mil. Both can be had for under $1k and will take you a long way for the money.

Thanks again, I'm in no hurry my plan was to wait and save. I bought the gun for use with irons but at some point in the future I will add a bipod and optic. As shown I know little about optics but have seen the same names (NF, US Optic,S&B) mentioned time and time again to recognize who the quality manufacturers seem to be. When I have the money set aside I'll be back with some better questions. After having searched the other party it has been comical reading the threads.
