Just got this email from GOA:

This is who in the House supported it:

    Quote:
Congress just passed a law to deputize your local police as ATF agents and to fund criminal investigations into mistaken NICS denials of law-abiding citizens.

    They are sneaky...

I called my Congressman Pete Sessions of Texas on Tuesday to voice my opposition to the entire bill the office was very friendly and all but he voted for it. POS! Typical Democrat move by Never letting a crisis go to waste. While the media is flying Yellow and Blue flags they jump in to spend 1.2T of our dollars on a bunch of pet projects and find ways to restrict our rights. My Senator John Coryn the POS is as weak as they come. Fuck them all!!!!!

At the end of the day they all want the same thing: your obedience and money.

So much shit is illegal in this "free" country I can't even keep up with it all anymore.

What we need is a reboot, just start over with the original amendments and throw the rest in the trash, along with political parties and monetary donations. Voting doesn't work when the whole system is rigged to reward the highest bidder in backroom deals. And their only fear is we might wake up one day and stop playing the game, can't have educated and armed slaves you know...

Yep. John Barasso got an email from me. He pretends to stand up for gun owners, his vote says otherwise. Cheney surprisingly voted against it, but she won't get a vote from me because of her previous actions.
That turncoat fucker. I’ll never support him again.

You guys just don't have that whole 'Yea, I read it' thing going on.
This was slipped in in the middle of the fucking night like a craven democrapper would do.
On Wednesday at 1:30 AM, the House of Representatives dropped a 2,700+ page, $1.5+ trillion spending bill
Look again.... 1 fucking 30 AM
And then they had to vote on it in the morning.
Of course no one read it, there was no time to do so.
It is not the fault of a single republican, the ones that voted against it did so just because it was a democrapper bill....they didn't read it either, they had zero chance to.

All the politicians are good and drunk at 1:30 am. That’s why. They are Idiots.

A single issue voter, confused on how single issue voters should behave, behaves in a manner that encourages exactly the legislator behavior he's opposed to. Brilliant! You do know that the function of the legislature is to compromise and that the word compromise means, "nobody gets what they want", right? The system works exactly as it was designed to. Just you don't know how it's supposed to work.

    This.

    Except:

All politicians are required to contribute all income producing assets to a blind trust.
Any case of embezzlement or abuse of public office can be considered treason and subject to capital punishment.
Switch to a transparent flat tax at a reasonable rate, virtually all of which is spent on military and national infrastructure
Firm limitations on the expansion of the federal government, the scope of its responsibilities and its authority over states.

Except when a politician runs on a platform that actually gets him elected then doesn't follow through. That's modern American politicians. Liars, corrupt, and self enriching.

I guess you're unclear on the definition of "politician". It means corrupt, self enriching liar. I am sorry to have to break that to you. If you still believe what politicians say, any of it, then the problem is not the politicians but your own amazing, stunning credulity. Naivety is unbecoming of patriots.

They have been working on this for months in committee etc it didn't just fall out of thin air. Also whenever the bill changes even a little bit they all have to vote for those changes.

What's funny is there are Democrats who voted for it and now they're mad that it doesn't have COVID money for their states in it.

I don't know Texas made a law that says le can't do atf work?

TX, the only thing they worship more than Christianity is the iron fist of the state (ie the police)

They try to pretend to like the constitution, ban BS roadblocks, but they will lie to pull you over just to look around with not a care on their mind, forget the major highway but if you cross TX good chance you’ll be pulled over, all your information run, cops peer through all your windows with their little beady eyes, and then “just given a warning”. Literally every time I drove through that shit hole this happens, and I’m a clean cut white guy driving a late model nice car less than 9 over at most.

TX is like CA or NY, just they pick other parts of the constitution they like and ignore the parts they don’t.

Putting their names here so people have a quick reference.
Every single one of the following RINO's need to be primaried and removed; especially, 3 of the biggest, swampiest, backstabbingest creatures in bold.

    Blunt (R-MO)
    Capito (R-WV)
    Collins (R-ME)
    Cornyn (R-TX)
    Ernst (R-IA)

    Murkowski (R-AK)
    Portman (R-OH)

This was in my e-mail from GOA

Because of three years of constant grassroots opposition, four gun control sections were removed from VAWA:

Sections 101 and 102: grant funding programs to train police to executive “red flag” gun confiscation orders.

Section 801: an expansion of the Lautenberg Misdemeanor Gun Ban (a.k.a. Biden’s “Boyfriend Loophole”).

Section 802: funding to turn state-level stalking laws into “red flag” gun confiscation laws.

Alas, for all the horrible gun control removed from the bill, some gun control remained:

Sections 1101-1102: the NICS Denial Notification Act to launch criminal investigations into firearm transfer background check denials—even though 9 out of 10 times the system falsely denies a law-abiding citizen.

Section 1103: funding for ATF to deputize local police to enforce federal gun laws, especially to undermine Second Amendment Protection Act (SAPA) states.

Gun owners need to contact their Senators and HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE for the passage of this gun control.

    Who is responsible?

As it turns out, leadership and anti-gun Republicans fought hard to maintain these gun control provisions in the final bill.

These eighteen Republican senators voted with anti-gun Democrats in favor of the gun control’s final passage:

The correct response to shady bullshit like this is to not fucking sign the damn thing. Any rep that signs that shit because “they didn’t have time to read it” is a fucking traitor and should be thrown into the deepest part of the ocean.

Can someone point out in the bill where these provisions are stated.

Violence against women section is around page 173 and atf section is in the 168 area.

Curious exactly what the GOA is talking about directly from the bill.

use a 'Cntrl F' and search on 'alcohol'; you'll get al lthe information that you may or may not want.
