So you're saying you want a part 2 to the saga?*likes to smell his own farts
*has overinflated opinion of his ability
*100% in denial of reality
*is a biscuit eating fat fuck
*needs to be throat punched
i was done when he scope eyed himself.
I do wonder if it still has the plastic bottom *metal* though....I like the tikka and vortex... lol
I'll put forth the Shooters performance is not representative of the rig and I'm pretty sure it didn't hold him back lol.
There are times when watching the few videos Backfire does...the way he talks and mannerisms I envision a blue bonnet on his head with a baby rattle. Only slightly less cringe than the fucken shit talking lying Marine poser. I am not supporting the notion USMC marksmanship translates 100% to precision rifle, but the pure lack of skill/basic fundamentals of this fuck is astonishing. (Someone mentioned even the diopter of the scope screwed all the way in, don't know of any scope that can have proper reticle focus like that)Not many “tubers” like to hear themselves talk as much as that nutnfancy fuck, but that backfire guy is close. Sweet baby Jeebus, someone that watches this trash save the rest of us 20 minutes and give us the readers digest version.
The first WTF I had is someone selecting a lightweight 300WM for this challenge and using a "They have a great warranty scope".Other possibilities. The scope took a shit mid session. Something came loose, the Tikka strings badly when hot.
I would like to see some people shoot 100 rounds of 300wm out of a sub 10 pound rifle. This aint your 25 pound 6 BRA we are taking about here.
"Carry a bag in the field." I am in the short grass flat plains of the untied states and I rarely have a shot hunting where I can get high enough off the ground with a bipod. Let alone use any kind of squeeze bag.
This video is what it looks like when square range never got off their belly or bench guys have to do some actual field shooting.
see below. then see below that for a breakdown. Those of you saying whatever about not being able to do it with a Tikka because it's a poors riflle ?
WT ever lovin F ?
There were guys doing it before you were born with a A3O3 and Garands....M14s...and old ass M70s and 700s.
I would place a Tikka at least as accurate as any of those.
I don't mean going 100 for 100, I mean able to make consistant hits at that range.
Oh a Tikka and a Vortex....the horror.
To those that suggested that shit I would go so far as to say you couldn't do it with a AI, custom rolled ammo and a ....well whatever the scope of the weak is.....I mean week. ZCO, TT, S&B....whatever.
Come out here to the grasslands, you won't get a shot at less than 200 yards because the bambi's have better eyes than you do.
Well....unless the bambi is an absolute retard and yea I've seen that....but a healthy deer, no f'n way.
Strangely enough plenty of deer are taken here and some even with lever guns.
Go figger.
It's always been the driver and not the car.
As long as the car isn't way outclassed a good driver will make it competitive.

The challenge stated hunting, not Gucci rest, or a gamers style event. The whole thing was a set up for failure, from the gate.
Interesting, but not true. The rear can be and has been managed in many ways other than a bag for as long as man has been shooting. No rear bag = No real shooter.
And, a rear bag is often (nearly always) useless in a field (not prone) scenario.Interesting, but not true. The rear can be and has been managed in many ways other than a bag for as long as man has been shooting.
I agree, that's why I deleted my original post. What I mean, is if you have time to plan, and you are an avid shooter you would bring some form of rear support especially if this is an accuracy challenge. Sure, it can be managed differently. Caylen does a great video of shooting without a rear bag. So, for me, it is a red flag that the shooter has bino's, a rangefinder, and no rear bag. I have an OG Game Changer with light fill that I keep in my vehicle, and it goes everywhere with me.Interesting, but not true. The rear can be and has been managed in many ways other than a bag for as long as man has been shooting.
i don't see anyone saying they are "all that". this guy was a complete fucking fool, lacking any grip on reality and having absolutely zero humility.Just for everyone that thinks they are all that, @j-huskey puts on a match at Hard Rock that is just 20 rds not 100 like the thread challenge. It's a simple 1 moa course of fire from 600 to 1K. I would like to see how many expert internet shooters first are even allowed to shoot it as its an invitational only, let alone their posted score. There have been some national names, and every kind of smoke pole gunsmith/shop represented over the last 22 years that I know of and all have failed to achieve a clean. There are 4 chamber classes to ply your wears in, including the 6.5 Gucci mores down to 223 & up to 300WM. Most all of your gamer tools can be use from the bench, so showing the world how to do it should not be an issue, should it?
Laughing, its openly here 24/7. 1/4 -1/2 moa all day everyday by many, yet when invites are extended they want to point fingers. We have been down this road many times, over the last 22 years I've been here. Just different avenues of approach each time.i don't see anyone saying they are "all that". this guy was a complete fucking fool, lacking any grip on reality and having absolutely zero humility.
if you get twisted up about that, then you are probably cut of the same cloth as that guy.
He strikes me as a bit, “self inflated.”
I’d like to see YouTube institute an “ignore” function, where you can just delete channels from your feed…
He's also a bit of an asshole to his wife lol....teaches her to shoot on a braked mid-weight 6.5CM and then gives her a lightweight, unbraked .300WM to shoot out to a mile and helps her develop a noticeable flinch.
not sure what you are trying to say.....but you are blathering on about something. it comes off like you are positioning yourself as some kind of guru. horsefeathers.Laughing, its openly here 24/7. 1/4 -1/2 moa all day everyday by many, yet when invites are extended they want to point fingers. No guru here for sure, and @j-huskey or anyone I've ever shot with at Hard Rock well attest to that. I just love watching reality meet perception just like the video posted. All thru the years here, many have talked the talk but never seem to show up where other posters here, can be schooled.not sure what you are trying to say.....but you are blathering on about something. it comes off like you are positioning yourself as some kind of guru. horsefeathers.
perhaps i misunderstood the tone of your post then. my apologies. No guru here for sure, and @j-huskey or anyone I've ever shot with at Hard Rock well attest to that. Hilarious and probably on point. Texas Predator Hunting podcast on the Mike the Marine debacle.
At least the first half.
He's at it again. Y'all let me know how it went. I'm off to my chores. I got a boatload of stuff to do today. I'll check in when I can to check on the rotten tomatoes rating from the film review experts of the Hide.

He went back and cleaned them after a little barrel cool. It's not likely someone shoots this many rounds hunting. More like 3 tops big game hunting. At least he got to learn a characteristic of his rifle, even if it won't matter in actual hunting situations. I certainly didn't get the cringe for this dude. If he would have taken the time to review his first miss or had a spotter he would have picked up on the slight right POI change and hit them the first go.Anyways at around shot #11 he missed three in a row. I stopped watching at that mark because I got embarrassed for him.
But I will give him credit that he tried, filmed it, and didn't edit out his misses. That's more honesty than you'll get in a lot of YouTube creators.

It backfired on this dude. Wasn't real sure where to put this but it'll probably be enjoyed in the pit.
The picture says you take that rifle waiting.I mean this is the rifle I take hunting...
I finally got around to watching it. The dude definitely shoots on a routine basis. Most of his hits around 300 judging by the splash were on the right side of the jugs. As it got farther his misses were all right, with the exception of one that went high I think. Not sure if his zero was a little off, fighting wind, who knows. That pencil barrel profile didn't help his case any. It did seem to settle down after it cooled off a little. He went back and cleaned them after a little barrel cool. I take my Game Changer, empty the sand and then fill it with polystyrene foam balls and then attach it to the rear of my sling with a carabiner for hunting season.Am I the only person that hunts with a fortune cookie ?
The picture says you take that rifle waiting.
How many calories are in crayons? Private Pyle here definitely always kept the footlocker chambered with a jelly donut.Over a million dollars of ammo? Then shows up with a tikka and a vortex? Pretty sure it was a misprint and he ate a million worth of crayons.

This 100%.From highest error rate to lowest error rate:
1. the shooter
2. the ammo
3. the gear
And it could certainly be shooter error to bring the wrong gear, let alone bad technique and possibly cheap ammo that has a variance of 10 to 20 fps which makes a bigger difference the farther out you go.This 100%.
I've seen this many times where a new guy shows up to 600-1000 yard F class match with a factory pencil barrel Rem 700 and box ammo and comes in last place and can't understand "why".
Apparently Eric Cortina is going to give it a go.
Should be fun to watch.
