And his Paid app, Shooter, has this function built into it already. No need to transfer distance from one program to the other. </div></div>
The only app I've seen called "Shooter" is from developer, seankndy. It is also $9.99. If this is the same one you are talking about, is it worth the 10 bucks? I have been using "Strelok" in conjunction with "Reticle Ranger", mainly because I'm pretty cheap and they are both free. Don't mind to pay for something that would be much better though. </div></div>
Reticle Ranger and Shooter are both written by the same developer.
Shooter actually contains all the function of Reticle Ranger, but it is built into the app so the resulting distance automatically appears in the range field of the app.
It has many other good features as well.
Sure its worth it.
I remember when a dedicated ballitic app was much more expensive and had a lot less features than Shooter. It is certainly worth the price, especially whencompared to the thousands we spend on weapon and scope, and hundreds a year or more on ammo. $10.00 is nothing if you look at the overall cost of shooting sports; it wouldn't pay the taxes on what many of us spend every month for shooting replated supplies and gear.
There is an entire thread dedicated to Shooter here:

Many aspects of Shooter were devolped by the author from his direct communications with Hide members in that thread.
Check it out!
