I visited Oak Island and the treasure site about 40 years ago, while touring most of Canada by motorcycle. At that time, there wasn't any visible activity from what I remember. Just rode up there an looked around.

Come to think of it, watching paint dry is probably more productive.
I find the show interesting because they have unearthed numerous artifacts spanning centuries. Some of their theories are far fetched, but I understand the show biz component.

Biggest problem is that everytime they find a rock or rotted piece of tree they stop digging.
If they kept digging and stopped screwing around, maybe they would find something.

There's nothing there. There probably never was anything there. The "artifacts" they say they have found "span centuries" based on nothing but their own supposition.
That show is all build up and no pay off. Like a strip club, without boobs.
