I had followed the full coverage of that when it happened. Close up, it looks even more fucking awesome, and for an 'ad-hoc' modification of something that was not orginally intended as a fighting machine, it is really neat.

An armored shroud extending down to cover most of them would pretty much render it impervious to any standard small arms. Mount a flamethrower or an M82/Serbu on it as the main armament, and a crew of riflemen firing from ports and it will be the ultimate SHTF/post-apocalyptic regional force projector, providing that your opponents do not have any heavy military hardware either.
