Anyone from the Gorge area, meaning south central Washington and north central Oregon?

We have two groups in Wa state, and they are below. Check them out if you already havent. I am a little over a hour from there my self but I am down in Oklahoma right this second for work other wise I would be down to do some shooting. Theres also quite a few around yakima area as well.

Right now it is out to 345 yards but with a little more work and time I will be out to about 600. We have about 3 in our group right now.
As suggested above, you might post in SHWW or Puget sound group...rather than starting another WA State sub group, but it's up to you.

Puget Sound and Western Washington are pretty far for those of us with limited time.
I'm on the Clark/Skamania border. I'm starting a new job and have a family so I don't have much time for the near future. That being said, I have some steel and toys and would be interesting any low-stress weekend shooting.
I also have a membership to Douglas Ridge but won't be able to use it much for the next few months due to the new job.

The Puget Sound and Western Washington guys do most of their matches out in the Ellensburg / Gorge area. They are very dedicated and travel far just to run matches.
Ellensburg,WA is around 3.5-4 hours from the Columbia River "Gorge". That's a chunk of time for us working + family stiffs.
It's nice to have something local and casual. Those matches do look cool but I never have the time to go to them. I'm lucky if I can get half a day on a weekend.
Yes, Ellensburg is over 3 hours for me. No easy way to get there being down on the Columbia River. The nw Washington guys are about 6 hours out from the hood river area.

I shoot out to a mile on public land about 12 miles S. of the river. Anyone need a long range spot, PM me. I'm set up at 450-500, 1150, 1350 or so and 1750. All good backstops and mostly driveable from hide to butt.It is all cross canyon and the wind is challenging.
