I was totally forced to watch some of this last night (it was a lesser punishment than if I had bailed). i guess my wife has been watching a while, and the kid was out so it was on the big screen.
It made no fucking sense at first. How does the USA suddenly become a Taliban like society apparently over night? Her answers were weirder and weirder and made less and less sense till I got out the iPad and started googling.
A-fucking-HA! This bullshit was the fever fantasy of a leftist cunt during Ronald Regan’s second term, Jerry Falwell’s Moral Majority, etc. Suddenly everything made sense. In the mind of some neurotic leftist bitch who likes murdering unborn babies, and thinks every man wants to rape her, the backstory, the plot, the vapid characters, nuclear hot zones, and basically everything makes perfect sense if you look at the media and the zeitgeist of 1985. The whole thing was retarded back then, but seen in retrospective it looks positively unhinged and every overt media bias and leftist fever swamp fantasy is right there.
