There is another option Pierce 800 series action requires a 1. 350 OD Shank Tenon is 1.187 16 TPI it is between the L and the M Bat action that way you saved on weight but still have an action that can handle even the 375 cheytac size case
I got a little crazy and decided to go way over bore. I'm building a 30XC with a 32" mod bb. I've got N570 and H50 but no access to quickloads so I was looking for some input for where to start on load development and powder choice between the two
Contact WTO in Texas, I know they chamber and do load development for the 30XC.
Contact kerby allen 300 raptor it was before the xc existed and its a better design us 869 powder .

I'd go a little heavier on the taper next time, Greg at Southern Precision wasn't happy with how close it was to the rail and tapered it down a bit. With the flutes it came in at 8.3 lbs finished, so puts the rifle at 24lbs or so, so plenty of room for the elr light class.

I am pulling this statement. I just realized the bullet used was not the original to take the virgin measurements. The Badlands only grew .031 and .016. First time using multiple solids in 1 barrel. Past experience has been w WFL only...Why am i not getting a linear measurement? I am thinking the diameter or angle of the driving bands?
A 30XC must have a barrel life of 500 rounds...
As long as the jackets and cores hold up.
A 241 Seneca would be pretty awesome with it's 1.15 G1 BC, but that barrel life...
Rumor has it over 3200 fps Berger's get a slump nose... i think you would have better luck w a expending mono.
34” barrel and 8.5 twist Bartlein, 245s hold up to at least 3380fps
300 Raptor build

Yes, but on a .30 cal in my .300NM.
Don't have my notes in front of me right now, but from memory the Badlands pressured out much earlier than the Warner's.
Edit: @BCX looking at my notes, the Badlands hit pressure much earlier than the Flatlines (went 2 grains higher with the Flatlines and didn't find pressure), but the Badlands were also able to achieve much higher velocity at the same charge (similar weight projectiles at 205's vs 198's).

Are you talking about a seating die or press ? 21st centry for the press. Warner tool for the seating die
ETA For a 375 cal round; a custom seating plug is required. Maybe Wilson would make the plug for you.
The person that chambered your barrel could use the reamer a second time to cut a chamber that will screw onto a 338 cal Wilson inline seater. Just give him the top side parts. Here is one I made

How is the 30xc holding up? I found it interesting that you wanted to run a 30XC over a 33XC. I am looking at the 33XC for my next build. Until then I am running a 32" 8tw SS Proof chambered in 30 Sherman Mag. I am running the 245gr Berger Hybrids @3040fps using RL33 and fire formed lapua brass. My average barrel life with both proof and bartlein is 1100 before starting to go to hell. I hope to get about the same out of a 33XC.
I easily hit 3400 with the 245’s but the bolt was sticky and showed a little too much growth on the web so I settled just over 3300. It obviously shoots really flat and I had a 4th round hit at 2309 yds. Misses were extremely hard to spot. It took 22 mils of elevation at that distance. First round hit at 1950. After about 55 rounds it was dirty enough to increase the pressure so much that the bullets over spun and came apart in flight. I’m using an 8tw barrel so I’m roughly 297,000 revs. Quick clean and it was shooting lights out again. During load development I ended with a 1” group at 400.
Impressive. What do you think your barrel life is going to be? If not the greatest it would still make one hell of a long range elk hunting rifle.
I'd love to know I'm getting $1 a shot out of the barrel. It hurts to think of it that way.

Yes sir, so they tell me. Still hurts, especially when your barrel comes in north of $1100.
I'm trying to get serious about my 1 mile shooting, and right now, there is just nothing better for that than 33XC.

True that. Some of the cost was the Mod BB, I had to have it recontoured, then fluted to meet light ELR weight. I've ordered up my next barrel direct so I've got the contour right and no fluting.
I was thinking of the
33xc - Barrel Bartlein – MTU taper . 34” barrel length, with the 5R , 1/8 rifling, waiting for $$ to put my order in and wait 9 months
but, quality takes time with the demand.

Bartlein modBB 1.350 blank should be $710-$750 depending on length. Chamber and muzzle thread $500-$600, 600-800 rounds out of barrel, yeah adds up quick. Pay to play
Does BB have a 33XC reamer; so a person can pay to have them do it.. and are the reamers pretty standard? I thought I read about a few variables in reamers. The variances might of been from the early days.. but. never hurts to ask
