Wrong, they used to be $3k on expert voice. After a month, they dropped to $2k. Now that all the inventory is bought, they can justify “demand” for higher pricing.Do some calculations on what it costs to purchase 100+ units at even $2k a piece. Takes money to make money (and it is a risk to sit on that much inventory).
Maybe Steiner would have done their $2k sale indefinitely but that’s doubtful as people seemed to be happy paying $3k. In light of that, I think the current situation is favorable for both parties. Without the discount code it’s a little bit of a douche move but with the discount it’s good for everyone
I’m not knocking the business decision. I just don’t buy the “good for everyone long term” sales pitch for it. Just call a spade a spade. DRT will make a short term killing on profit margin, units won’t be available until later, and then cost goes up for everyone. That’s the reality.
