I’ve used a modified Saturn powder funne for years that I made to work for 223 and 260 but it obviously wasn’t optimal for my new 7mm needs.


For Christmas I bought a Area 419 powder with a 7mm bushing.
Yea,,,,kinda expensive for a simple funnel but hot damn!
It works!

Fits the case necks well, opening is nice for dumping 60ish grains of powder and it’s heft makes it steady on the case.

That's the nicest one of those I have ever seen.

All I have is one of those plastic pans with the built in funnel/handle.

I purchased the Area 419 master funnel kit when he first came out with them..... great design and function.

I really like both the Area 419 funnels as well as the Precision Hardcore Gear funnels. If you need funnels for 3 or more calibers, including pistol calibers, the Area 419 is a less expensive alternative than the Precision alternative. Not sure about the Lyman offering. It seems like a reasonable budget alternative but the o-ring attachment looks like it may be problematic in the long term.
