Gentlemen,
Please allow me the chance to tell you all about my experience with Schmidt and Bender and my PMII 5-25x56mm MSR MTC LT Tan scope.
I had my rifle leaning against my safe door in the garage. Two other rifles were leaning next to it. While I was reloading I heard this sickening sliding sound and looked up just in time to watch, in horrifyingly slow motion, my rifle falling to the concrete floor. The horror show continued when I watched the other two rifles fall onto top of the rifle and scope. Here is a result of the damage that the concrete floor did to the side of the scope:

I was dumbstruck and heart broken. I do not have a lot of money and this scope represented a multi-year investment for me. I was sick with worry. My worry only faded slightly when I went out that evening behind my house to shoot this group:

You will note that the point of impact was over to the left by 1 inch. So I re-zeroed the rifle .2 mil radians over. I called Jerry Ricker at Schmidt and Bender the next day and he was amazing. He empathized with my pain and gave me a couple of options, all of which involved me only paying for parts and no labor. In fact, I was promised that they would open up the scope to ensure that everything was in fine working order.
I shipped the scope to him and despite his being out of state, he made sure that someone would get to my scope right away and I had the scope back in 2 WEEKS!! That is right. They completed the turn around in less than 2 business days and I had it back in my hands, despite myself being on the opposite side of the country!
I was so busy with family and work that I almost forgot to "re-zero" the rifle prior to my competition coming up this weekend. So I went out and shot this group at 100 meters. These are the first 5 shots without any adjustments after I remounted the scope back onto the rifle:

This is precision at its finest. This is customer service at its finest. I am one hell-uv-a happy customer. If anyone has any doubts about Schmidt and Benders products and customer service I only have one word for you..."Don't".
Thank you Jerry Ricker and Thank you Schmidt and Bender for covering me and my own negligence.
