Yes it is. Family property about an hour from home. I wish I could get out there more often. Picture was taken at 6:45 Sunday morning.
Last fall on my property, I have alot of maples on this side of the house.
This almost looks like some stretch of the Oyhee. Humboldt/little Humboldt maybe?
That’s the general area I was thinking. Started out hunting pheasant in eastern Montana and wound up in North Dakota and that’s what it reminds me of.
Trying to figure out how this works now. Google “updated”. and every goddamn fucking photo that was on my phone is no longer there!

This one is NW Oregon - Wilson Unit. The other two are Block Island and Northern ME.

It’s around the point to the left which is blocking the view to the rest of the lake. The tourists have mostly gone, but this weekend will be the last blast for them. Then all the locals start enjoying the place.

Up on Luther? I fished the West Fork of the Carson in that valley a lot. Just down the hill on the left is Horse Thief Canyon. Just before you get to 88
I logged in that area when I worked for my FIL. My wife grew up in Markleeville. I lived in that area about a year and went all over with them fishing and exploring for about four years.
Small world. I lived in Markleeville for a while. I prefer the alpine side to the basin if I had to choose, but it’s all pretty spectacular.

Hey! I just crossed that bridge Friday, on the way down, and Saturday, on the way back, from the Cadillac F-class shoot on Sat. the 7th of Sept.
Pala Shooting Range this past Sunday.. my first time there. EXCELLENT LOCATION. Its likely to be my new "go to" spot.
