Wife is traveling and met up with her parents since they were nearby. They all got rooms at some ritzy downtown hotel. When they went to shower in their individual rooms they both commented to the other as to how super shitty the water pressure was.

The flow restrictors they were using didn't put enough PSI on the flow to even make the water coming out of the showerhead arc; it just kind of fell out.

Wife remembers that her crazy husband always brings a wrench with him when he travels. Suddenly remembers why. Dad goes down to his car that has a basic tool kit in it, grabs a wrench and proceeds to take the water restrictor out of the shower head fitting.

Now you can pressure wash a car in that shower.

Low water pressure in hotels is a pet peeve of mine, too. Be careful though. If you get caught by the enviro-whackadoos they’ll probably try to send you away for a few years.

Tape a piece of paper to the ac so the motion detector sees it

Ive actually considered buying a 'full flow' shower head and bringing it along as there are some places that have a restricter in the pipe as well as a completely shitty showerhead that is basically built as a restrictor.

The shower pressure thing is usually a huge point with the wife and I when we travel. You can have a top notch 12 star hotel or some shit, but if the shower pressure is shit...fuck you.

I wasn't there to see this one, but by far the worst I've ever witnessed was at the Delano hotel in Vegas. It was like someone turned the main 90% of the way off.

Nothing worse than shitty water pressure OR a bed cover that looks like a star map when you flick on a black light. No, that’s not oatmeal...

On the flip side, it‘s also pretty terrible to get water-jetted in the dick head with the shower heads that have .2 micron holes in them with 140 psi of pressure behind them!
