I agree with your position that they hate the Constitution but my point is that it will result in the dissolution of the Union. The tyranny of the majority is clearly evident in the blue states such as CA, NY, CT, OR, NJ, CO and NM among others. Large urban districts dictating policies for the rest of the citizens of the state. Little can be done to rectify the situation on the state level but on a Federal level the outcome would be quite different.

Currently electoral votes in Colorado are decided by the Colorado popular vote...............................now the votes in Colorado do not reflect the majority of Colorado voters......................it goes to the national majority winner? And the citizens of Colorado accept this? Just way too much Rocky Mountain High going on, of course it's now fine to execute babies in New York.............................so maybe not so strange?

The whole purpose of the electoral college was to prevent a tyranny of the majority. The Founders truly had the ability to think far ahead of their time and designed a system that would prevent many grievances if used in the right way.

That's a problem when people in other states illegally vote (the 58,000 in Texas, for example), and your state can't enforce voting laws in other states. Oops.
I think the better idea for what they are going for is to ditch the winner-take-all approach for your individual state instead of determine your state's electoral college votes based on the national popular vote.

The rural areas are for the most part good. The Plains and Western Slope surround a huge festering cancer called The Front Range and Slat Rat country, headquartered in Denver and Boulder.
The people that have moved here for the Wide Open Spaces and the Rocky Mountain High have destroyed what they moved here for in the first place.

Colorado has officially gone full California. To think any state would do this, what would be in full opposition to the will of its electorate, and can get away with it without a full recall of every legislature member who voted for it being initiated, goes to show how far batshit left that state has been turned.
I imagine the time when this would be initiated and change the course of an election. The American people haven't seen actual election theft to this point, but this would be it in complete counter intent to the Constitution and the fact that we are as much separate but equal states as we are one nation. That would be a full on turning point in this nation's history which would turn very ugly, very quick.

We need to figure out how to lure all the lefties back to California from Colorado, then give California back to Mexico in exchange for building us a wall. So in any close election Colorado's vote will be decided in court. Both parties will make a list of states where the popular vote can be challenged. Suppose the national vote difference in only 500,000 votes. NY might go Dem by 1,000,000 votes but perhaps you would only need to go to court to change 500,000 in order to change the president.
It is hard for me to see why Colorado would go for this. No president would ever need to campaign in the state or promise anyone there anything. Even if the Senators or Governor were begging for something no president would ever have any political reason to give it to them.

I left Colorado after they went against the Sheriff's and the majority of people and rammed the bullshit gun laws through. Moved to WY and haven't looked back. All of my family still lives in NoCo. The brainwashing in that state is real and getting worse. I just hope the socialist and democrat residents of Colorado don't start moving north en masse due to unsustainable housing and cost of living increases. We really don't want that plague spreading here any faster or at all.
